Garden Notes: I have seen this plant look very nice. However it can be a little temperamental. Plant it for its large, showy, pure orange bloom. But know that it can be a little difficult to grow successfully.

Garden Notes: Great plant! Starts blooming end of July till cooler days of fall. Hummingbirds love it and butterflies feed on nectar as well. Throws seed several feet to get new plants, not hard to remove.
