Garden Notes: This is a great plant for your harshest conditions. With a little soil improvement it should thrive with little or no extra water. It does spread, so watch where you plant it. It will need to have some borders and will choke out smaller plants. It will have bright yellow blooms all summer and then the flowers will dry to a nice yellowed brown in fall.
