Chocolate scent, blooms in morning closes in afternoon, showy, flowers dry to brown seed Garden Notes: This is one of my favorite Panhandle Natives. My yard in the mornings will often be filled with the scent of chocolate thanks to this plant.
Keep Chocolate Flower on the dry , lean side. Too much water and too rich soil can cause it to grow too fast. It will then lose it's natural mounding shape and be a large flowering clump. (Not all bad, just not quite as nice) It can be cut back in the middle of the growing season to get it back into shape.

A great grass for lawns. It requires little water, fertilizing or mowing. Best looking with minimal foot traffic in winter. Garden Notes: Plant 2-3 pounds per 1000 sq. feet. Germination takes about two weeks. Water lightly twice per day around 10:00 and 2:00 to keep seed bed barely wet. A week or so after grass has sprouted water can be reduced a bit until grass is established and then watering becomes optional.

Lovely dwarf plant.Silvery foliage on shorter plant. Nice and compact. Smaller, silvery leaves. Very similar to Nanhoe Blue. Garden Notes: This is becoming one of my favorite plants. It makes a nice bush with nearly evergreen leaves. It has a more refined look to it than most other Buddleias.

Excellent shrub, prune to 12" in spring. Fast growth to 6-8ft. Fragrant,lilac-like blooms summer to frost without deadheading. Garden Notes: This variety is seed grown- collected from plants that have been growing locally. It is the fastest growing, most robust variety I have. It does very well with minimal water once established. Water deeply when watering. Great for a variety of butterflies.
